Vlad is weak early, yes, but I think Vlad is not THAT bad of an early game champion. Having a ranged auto and a built-in sustain spell he could pressure melee champion pre-3, like Sylas, Pantheon, Katarina. Yone and Yasuo must be pressured differently because of the high mobility, but definitely doable.Hey all, I'm a plat 4 vladimir main (one-trick?) and I've decided to help some of my fellow, lower elo vlad mains to climb out of bronze/silver/gold. Although my rank is relatively low, the acc I currently play on was given to me after my main was permanently banned.

Yuumi's relatively easy low APM gameplay allows for talented gamers to play on 2 accounts simultaneously. Most Yuumi mains are just challenger Khazix/Talon/Graves on their other acc. Learning to pilot a high octane assassin while also controlling Yuumi with your feet on a laptop is a well known method for training your APM.Top lane matchups that are ass are most bruisers that know how to counter Vlad and can zone you from healing. Top lane matchups are more polarizing because top lane is more snowbally, has a smaller lane, and harder match ups: Irelia, Riven, Kayle, Yasuo, old Xin are terrible matchups.Also that from "statistics", one of the more recent EUW masters level vlad also spams the same build, but sometimes goes PR instead of electro. I started league in season 3 and started in beginner bots instead of intro and never saw that the tutorial tells you to position pinky on Q and index…Vlad has easy objective control with his disgusting AoE so try and setp up drakes or Herald with Jungle. I'm typing way too much but basically this is how you play Vlad generally, match ups will sway how games will go for sure, like Ekko, Anivia, Malz will be extremely hard games and you will feel useless.Win rate is too skewed because of the champion. Too many people with low experience playing a harder than average learning curve champion. I agree that vlad is though to the inexperienced player because they are scared to all in, and just try to poke him which is the only thing vlad is good at.
Experimenting with some of my builds, and after talking to some other Vlad mains, they always insist on building Void Staff, even if I don't build…i main vlad top and permaban irelia. other than that, you walked up to her while she was killing minions and stacking her passive, even if you dodge all her spells she'll have her passive stacked autos which hit like a truck. if you persist in playing vlad top, you'll need to learn that almost every champ can and will beat the fuck out of you ...
